baby bird image Sally Donlon Sally Donlon qualified as a Registered General Nurse from St Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4 in 1991. On graduating, she was awarded The Gold Medal in Nursing Care and staffed there for one year until she undertook Midwifery training in 1992 at the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin 2.
She qualified as a Registered Midwife in 1994 and continued to staff in Holles Street until late 2001 gaining valuable experience in all areas of Midwifery and Gynaecology. Sally trained as a Reflexologist in 1994 and worked as part of the Reflexology Team within the hospital.
In 2000 she qualified in Special and Intensive Care of the Newborn and staffed in Unit 8 which she thoroughly enjoyed. Sally presently works in Midwifery and the Special Care Baby Unit in Mount Carmel Hospital.
In 2007 Sally completed workshops in “Leading Antenatal Classes” by Judith Schott through the I.N.O.
She continues to developing her expertise through ongoing training and education keeping updated in all areas of Midwifery and Special Care of the Newborn.
As a busy Mother of two children, Sally has the added understanding of the immense challenges and joys motherhood brings.
